It was almost 9:30 on a Saturday night when we realized we completely forgot about having dinner. We were at a friends and this was one of the few places still open for delivery. We quickly skimmed through the menu and placed an order. I noticed the menu was different from what dishes I was use to. They had alot more variety but we stuck to what we knew since time was limited.
Delivery came within 20 minutes of ordering.
We dished everything out and the food was really delicious. We had an appetizer of chicken wings and spring rolls. We also placed an order of the combination dinner of chicken chow mein which came with special fried rice, an eggroll and soup. I went with the egg drop as it's my preference.
Both rolls were great and filled with lots of cabbage (which I love). The special fried rice came with an abundance amount of shrimp, we just couldn't stop eating it. Chicken wings were super hot and crispy letting us know they were freshly made. I loved the chicken chowmein as the chicken was cut into thinner strips and they went heavy on the bok choy and bean sprouts (my 2 favorite veggies). Our bellies were full and all 4 of us went home and had a full belly nights rest.
This chinese restaurant has us hooked. Definitely would have delivery again when back in this area. -

Without exaggerating I can say I've literally eaten at Silver Palace my whole life - my family is from Guangdong and has lived in this area over 40 years. This is a staple when we go out for Cantonese Chinese. When we go as a family of 6+ we order at a minimum: the crispy chicken with garlic sauce, beef stirfry with Chinese broccoli, fried flounder fillet, salt and pepper shrimp or silverfish, snowpea tips, beef tendon casserole, steamed tofu shrimp. You can pre-order roast duck or duck with taro. We've eaten there so much sometimes we get complementary seasoned chicken feet on the house - can't get any more authentic than poultry feet. The cuisine is surprisingly comparable to what I've tried in Flushing/Queens New York or Chinatown, Silver Spring/Rockville in Maryland, and Philadelphia. Unlike the other cities, you will be served if you speak English, Spanish or Canto or Mandarin Chinese here.
I can also throw down with their "Americanized" menu - give me some Fried Chicken wings, special fried rice, and ribs and I'm a happy camper. -

Great food. Great value for money. Great service. Use their take out service often and always consistent no matter how busy the restaurant becomes.

Pretty good Chinese restaurant. Service was good and the food was served piping which I personally prefer. I ordered vegetable lo mein which was ok and general taos chicken which was pretty good. Also had jasmine tea which wasn't strained properly and also didn't have a strainer in the pot so a cup of tea with leaves is what I was drinking. Overall pretty good. I was overhearing that delivery on the other hand takes long. Just an FYI.
